Subject: Gamers and Angry Video Game Nerd at E3 are suprized at Sonic games! Thu Jun 17 2010, 21:07
I saw some reports on Sonic games that were at E3 on Game Trailers.com, and reporters are suprized!
The Angry Video Game Nerd had this to say about Sonic 4: "Okay, so I just played Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1. Now why the hell is it "Sonic 4"? I understand they're kind of ignoring everything that happened after 3, but dont forget about Sonic CD, that was a good one. So it basicaly goes back to the old-school platforming Sonic games, 2D, Classic. And I guess thats what everybody wanted. Everyone was just like, "You know what? Just go back to the old style", and thats what they did here! You have some new moves, like when your in the air you can sort of like, target on to people and just like, fwoop-fwoop-fwoop-fwoop, like that, i dunno how to explane it, but, not bad!"
Another reporter had this to say about Sonic Colors Wii: "Sonic Colors on the Nintendo Wii! I just played it and I'm kinda suprized! Honestly it was actually not bad!" Watch the whole video here: http://screwattack.com/videos/Hands-On-Sonic-Colors-Wii-1
Under the hands-on Sonic Colors Wii video, Game Trailers wrote this: "Prepare yourself, for the impossible has happened. Pigs are flying, cancer is cured, Big Foot drives a Mini Coop, dogs and cats are living together, Craig has real hair, and Sonic might actually have a good 3D game... wait, what?"
I love how gamers are so suprized that they're all like, "Wow! I'm.....I'm actually really suprized! Its not bad!" Sonic fans there have also started to say: "We're back people! We're back!"
This is awesome!
The only thing I havent heard anyone talk about is Sonic Free Riders. But theres still some more to go!

Subject: SEGA Recieves 2 World Records at E3! Fri Jun 18 2010, 10:15
SEGA posted this on their blog:
The nice folks from Guinness World Records just stopped by to give SEGA 2 world records! Pictured with the awards above are (L-R) Darren Williams, Mike Hayes, and Haruki Satomi. The first award (pardon the glare) is for Valkyria Chronicles. The award is for best strategy RPG for the PS3! Valkyria Chronicles won Game of the Year, Strategy Game of the Year, and achieved average review scores of 86% and 86.38% in 2008. The second award is for Virtua Fighter. We received it for being the first fully 3D fighting game to employ polygon graphics as opposed to animated sprites in 1993. Here are Darren, Mike and Haruki with the people from Guinness World Records. Speaking of awards, I’ve just been told that a few more E3 nominations and awards have come in. We’ll have a full update on all the nominations and awards in a future blog post. It’s been a great E3 for SEGA games!

Subject: Best of E3 Awards! Sonic Games Nominated Everywhere! Fri Jun 18 2010, 10:36
Here are the Sonic Games that almost won the their nominated title at E3:
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I :
Best iPhone Game (nominee) – IGN Best Platforming Game (nominee) – IGN Reason to Live Award – Gamesradar Best Downloadable Game (nominee) – Gaming Excellence
Sonic Colors :
Best DS game (nominee) – 1up Best of E3 Award (DS version) – Pure Nintendo Best DS game (nominee) – IGN Best Wii game (nominee) – IGN Best Platformer (nominee) – Gaming Excellence
Whats the greatest part to all of this is that the games were actually good enough to be nominated! And another great thing is that some of the nominations were reeeeaaally close! I've made the text Yellow for the ones that wowed me so much when I saw them I couldn't believe it. And yes, they're ALL yellow.

Subject: Hanging with the boys at E3! Fri Jun 18 2010, 11:01
The Following was posted on The Sonic Stadium:
"Question: How do you top off a great E3 which was the biggest year for Sonic yet? On these 3 days of glorious gaming, how to you top it? Put the cherry on the Sunday?"
(EGG1 Talking now) Thats right people. Jason here from TSS was lucky enough to take a picture with two of the biggest people in Sonic history that were also attending E3! Our Hero, Takashi Iizuka and.......wait......Yuji Naka?!?! What?! Yeah, its true. Yuji Naka was attending E3, and he purposely went over to the SEGA booth to check out the new Sonic Games! There, he was found with Mr. Iizuka next to the Giant Statue of Sonic near the Sonic 4 Demo, to which this picture was taken. But doesn't that bug you???? That the guy who left Sonic in the dust purposely went over to the Sonic section while attending E3???? AND spoke with the Sonic Hero, Takashi Iizuka???? Pick a side Naka!!
